Roof rejuvenation vs. replacement: which does your roof need?
Rejuvenation is a genuine alternative for the right roof, and the wrong answer for the wrong one. We'll show you how to tell which is which.
When rejuvenation is the right call
Renewal makes sense when your roof is aging but still structurally sound: the shingles are dry, faded, streaked with algae, or starting to shed granules, but the roof isn't leaking and the deck underneath is solid. If your goal is to add years of life and delay a costly replacement, that's what rejuvenation is for.
When you need a replacement instead
Some roofs are past saving, and no treatment changes that. If you have active leaks, rot, a sagging or damaged roof deck, widespread missing or cracked-through shingles, or a roof at the genuine end of its life, a replacement is the honest answer. Rejuvenation can't repair structural problems.
The cost and disruption difference
When renewal is appropriate, the difference is large. It costs a fraction of a replacement, and most homes are finished in a single day instead of the days of tear-off, noise, and debris a replacement involves.
What an honest inspection looks like
A good inspection gives you evidence, not a sales pitch. We fly your roof with a drone, capture before photos, and walk you through what we see. If renewal is right, we'll show you why. If it isn't, we'll tell you to put your money toward a replacement. We won't sell you a treatment that can't help.
